A traditional meal loved by many Scots and is served during Burns Supper held every 25th of January--a dinner in celebration of the national poet, Robert Burns--Haggis is often a taboo to some, yet a major favorite in each Scottish household. It is a pudding consisting of the sheep's organs and encased artificially mimicking a sheep's stomach. It is eaten together with mashed Neeps (Turnips) and Tatties (Potatoes). It's a fantastic scran!
