It may sound like a jaded phrase said by every lover, but this is a lyric in the ballad 'Caledonia' written in 1977 by Dougie MacLean, which he wholeheartedly dedicates the song to Scotland being his motherland. Caledonia is the Latin term used for the country before it was called Scotland.
