The Scottish Thistle (Black and White)
Besides the fact that the Thistle is the national flower of Scotland, interestingly enough, it holds a meaning cherished by every Scotts as it embodies gallantry, royalty, and valor. It is not just merely a plant, but a protector from enemies during the war between Scotland and Denmark, when one Danish Viking inadvertently stepped on the Thistle's spikes that made him scream in pain, alerting the Scots of the nearing opponents. Today, the Thistle is everywhere seen in the country, be it in paper bills, coins, swords, shops and many more to mention.
